Microamp Secures €6.5 Million Funding and Strategic Support from European Union’s EIC Accelerator Programme to Advance Any-G mmWave AI-RAN Wireless Platform Development

Warsaw, Poland – June 17, 2026 – Microamp, a global leader in resilient 5G mmWave wireless solutions, has been awarded €6.5 million in funding and strategic support from the European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator, a key programme of the European Union’s (EU) Horizon Europe framework. The EIC Accelerator strategically targets top-notch deep-tech companies developing high-impact innovations with the potential to create new markets or disrupt existing ones. The total financial backing is distributed as a €2.5 million EIC grant and €4 million equity from the EIC Fund.

The Innovation: Any-G mmWave AI-RAN Wireless Platform

The financial backing, which includes both a non-refundable grant and an EIC Fund investment component, accelerates the development of the Microamp Any-G mmWave AI-RAN Wireless Platform - a fully reconfigurable, software-defined system enabling seamless adaptation across evolving 3GPP standards, frequency bands, network modes and 6G features. As a versatile groundbreaking wireless platform, the Any-G system is engineered to support current 6G mmWave deployment requirements alongside future spectrums and configurations. Built on a robust architecture prepared for long-term scalability, this Any-G mmWave solution will deliver exceptional flexibility and performance whilst unlocking future 6G-native capabilities, such as Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) and Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN), with a single architecture.

The Any-G mmWave wireless platform evolves through pure software updates or swappable RF modules instead of full radio infrastructure replacement. This unprecedented offer is enabled through a unique Microamp programmable AI-PHY, our adaptive AI-based RF technology and TDD/FDD 6G mmWave capabilities. By introducing the Any-G mmWave system, Microamp drives a market-disrupting shift from rigid, costly networks to fully upgradeable wireless infrastructure.

Ultimately, deploying the Any-G mmWave network will reduce infrastructure ownership cost by 5 times whilst expanding the scope of next-generation network features.

Capitalising on the AI Industrial Revolution

The development of the Microamp AI-RAN wireless platform comes at a critical juncture, as the ongoing AI revolution requires a paradigm shift and a new approach to the design and implementation of industrial networks that analyse data quickly and support real-time decision-making. Conversely, traditional private network deployments have stalled and hit definite limits. Existing solutions remain rigid and lack the flexibility required to serve the private wireless networks market effectively. This software-defined Microamp Any-G wireless platform directly addresses the structural limitations of legacy infrastructure.

"This is another important milestone for Microamp and a strong validation of the innovative work we have been doing in 5G mmWave. It marks the culmination of our contribution to the advancement of this technology and rewards us somehow for being the first company in the world to successfully commercialise 5G mmWave networks," said Dawid Kuchta, co-founder and CEO of Microamp. "mmWave will be the highway of the AI industrial revolution and will secure a definitive era of industrial competitiveness. The spectrum is opening across the EU, but without European technology, critical infrastructure will be controlled and dominated by external incumbents."

The AI-based wireless networks from Microamp support advanced operational concepts to meet future network architecture requirements. As the telecommunications sector shifts towards AI-driven frameworks, the Microamp Any-G solution integrates sensing and communications to transform the network into a high-resolution sensor. This architecture achieves simultaneous sensing and high-capacity data transmission within a single unified network. Furthermore, the Microamp system features a Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) ready architecture that supports seamless integration with satellite and non-terrestrial communication layers.

Ensuring European Sovereignty

Establishing a robust and resilient European ecosystem for next-generation networks is essential to secure data independence and protect European technology supply chains from long-term geopolitical risks. Microamp secures this critical infrastructure domain by delivering completely indigenous 6G and future-G solutions engineered and purpose-built in Europe, guaranteeing absolute architectural transparency and supply chain control for European enterprises, public administration, defence and allied government partners.

Microamp aims to become the European champion in industrial, critical connectivity and next-generation 6G wireless platforms, succeeding where traditional telecom leaders have failed to provide flexible, customisable functional connectivity. By keeping proprietary intellectual property, network software development alongside hardware design and manufacturing within the European Union, Microamp ensures that European industries can scale safely during the industrial AI revolution without compromising data governance or technology independence.

"EIC support today puts Microamp in pole position in this heated race for next-generation communications to ensure European sovereignty in this crucial domain,” adds Marcin Góralczyk, co-founder and CTO of Microamp
