This groundbreaking achievement sets a new industry benchmark for network readiness and operational speed.

Technology Spotlight: CellBox Air gNodeB for Superior Performance

The live demonstration showcased the powerful capabilities of the Microamp 5G mmWave private network and confirmed its high performance in combination with Druid Software Raemis™ 5G Core and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). 

The system architecture used in the demonstration is shown below:

The Microamp 5G mmWave gNodeB was registered by Raemis™ 5G Core that was remotely activated and configured by Raemis™ Distributed Network Manager (DNM) deployed on OCI. Following registration, the Microamp 5G mmWave CPE was rapidly attached, and within around 30 seconds, an IP address was successfully obtained, the device was switched to active status and data transmission began.

Subsequently, network throughput was verified. The test results confirmed the expected high performance of the Microamp 5G mmWave network, with downlink at approximately 2 Gbps and uplink around 250 Mbps (operating on band n257 with 400 MHz bandwidth). 

Microamp CellBox Air gNodeB is a carrier-grade wireless base station designed for high-capacity outdoor and indoor deployments. It delivers 4+ Gbps performance and near-zero latency (< 5 ms), with bandwidth capability up to 800 MHz. The design offers high flexibility, supporting advanced Microamp features, such as Integrated Access and Backhaul, Mobility Mode and the highly efficient Uplink-Heavy System, making it an ideal, cost-efficient solution for even the most demanding applications.
