Microamp will showcase 5G mmWave Tactical Bubbles at the IEEE Military Communications (MILCOM) Conference, taking place on October 6-10, 2025 in Los Angeles, CA, USA. The company will conduct live demonstrations of advanced Microamp 5G mmWave networks, designed with inherent Low Probability of Detection (LPD) and Low Probability of Intercept (LPI) capabilities, highlighting the system robustness and secure connectivity for tactical and mission-critical communications.
The 43rd MILCOM conference, taking place at Los Angeles Airport Marriott, will feature a comprehensive high-quality program including technical papers, selected tutorials, workshops and technical panels on current and emerging topics applicable to all facets of military communications. Microamp will showcase network solutions at booth no. 209 and during the 5G Military Communications workshop on October 6. Additionally, Microamp expert will take part in the technical panel discussion on October 7.
Microamp 5G mmWave Tactical Bubbles create an end-to-end communications system engineered for high resilience, portability, multigigabit speeds and near-zero latency, enabling real-time data processing and secure communication. Designed for Low Probability of Detection (LPD) and Low Probability of Intercept (LPI), it ensures reliable connectivity for drones, AR/VR systems and connected soldiers in mission-critical operations at the battlefield edge.
During the 5G Military Communications workshop (WS06) on Monday October 6, at 2:20 pm PDT Microamp team will make a presentation with live demonstration on "Microamp 5G mmWave Tactical Bubbles for Rapid Ad-hoc Communication". The system creates a network bubble, optimized for LPD and LPI, where military assets such as reconnaissance drones, AR/VR systems, robots and sensors operate in real time, enhancing situational awareness, command coordination and remote control capabilities even in contested environments. The workshop will conclude with a networking event hosted in collaboration with Microamp. Detailed workshop agenda can be found here.
During the technical panel discussion “Non-Terrestrial Networks & ISAC: Extending 5G Into the Battlespace” (PAN-09) on Tuesday October 7, at 3:45 pm PDT Marcin Góralczyk, CTO at Microamp, will explain how 5G mmWave networks are transforming defence and mission-critical communications, with a specific focus on Integrated Sensing and Communications (ISAC) and Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN). Details of the panel can be found here.
