The Microamp U501 5G mmWave CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) is a high-speed packet access FWA terminal designed for outdoor use. It allows for easy connection of end devices such as WiFi routers, local servers, or industrial systems with the 5G mmWave network.more

Based on the Qualcomm X65 chipset, Microamp U501 CPE supports 5G NR SA and NSA core networks on 5G mmWave spectrum. It leverages 2x2 MIMO antennas and offers the flexibility of mobile broadband access, providing much higher download speed throughput for users in office and residential buildings such as multi-dwelling units or apartment complexes.

The U501 CPE is designed for outdoor use and has an IP65 rating, which protects it against temporary water submersion. It is powered by PoE (802.3bt) and provides a 5G Ethernet port that can transmit multi-gigabit high-speed connections for Internet access.

Thanks to its small form factor design, the U501A CPE can be installed on a wall or pole with a mounting bracket and function as a Fixed Wireless Access modem with a PoE cable to connect to the in-house WiFi Gateway. It can also be attached to moving vehicles such as tethered drones or trains.
