Microamp Launches CellBox One A200: A Compact All-In-One 5G mmWave gNodeB Delivering Ultra-High Capacity and Architectural Flexibility

WARSAW, POLAND – September 2, 2026 – Microamp, a global leader in resilient connectivity for real-time operations, today announced the commercial launch of the CellBox One A200 5G mmWave gNodeB. Engineered to deliver extremely high capacity, outstanding network stability, near-zero latency and superior economics, this all-in-one 5G mmWave wireless platform allows Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) to launch high-frequency infrastructure swiftly, unblock mmWave rollouts, improve operational economics and revise traditional business models.

Flexible and Compact All-in-One Architecture for Industrial, Enterprise and Tactical 5G mmWave Networks

By streamlining deployment logistics and lowering Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), the CellBox One A200 gNodeB removes historical market barriers to accelerate mmWave rollouts and enable dynamic monetisation. High flexibility and adjustability allow operators to tailor network parameters, TDD frame configurations and throughput allocations to specific site requirements. Designed for both small private setups and macro cell deployments, the new compact 5G mmWave system integrates CU, DU and RU into a single unit with flexible split options and optional onboard Core Network functionality.

To simplify field deployment, the CellBox One A200 supports flexible architectural split options, including Option 0 (CU+DU+RU) for complete all-in-one execution and Option 2 (DU+RU) for centralised multi-cell management. Operating in Standalone (SA) mode, the 5G wireless platform also offers the capability to implement Core Network (CN) functions directly in the radio unit, eliminating the requirement for external server infrastructure on site. Advanced computing power across upper network layers combines with accelerated algorithms within the 3GPP-compliant L1 Phy layer to optimise signal processing, while the high-output 5G mmWave radio configuration is upgradeable to 4T4R MIMO to double throughput as traffic demands scale over time.
