Microamp 5G mmWave wireless tactical bubbles are being field tested and refined at the NATO DIANA 6G Test Centre (6GTC) in Oulu to validate the mission readiness of our 5G mmWave system for real-world scenarios.

Microamp provides 5G mmWave tactical bubbles designed for rapid deployment in dynamic and mission-critical environments. The demand for this specific use case has been validated by NATO’s Communications and Information Agency (NCIA). As a member of the NATO DIANA programme, Microamp is currently testing and refining this system at the 6G Test Centre (6GTC) in Oulu. The aim is to adapt Microamp technology to meet the operational needs of NATO Allies and ensure readiness for deployment in tactical and contested environments.

Microamp 5G mmWave system is built for uplink-centric communication, making it suitable for real-time streaming of high-resolution sensor and video data from the field, a critical requirement for AI-driven analytics, autonomous platforms and dynamic command-and-control.

The current phase of work involves functional validation and environmental adaptation, including integration with NATO-compatible infrastructure, high-load stress testing and preparation for use in real-world operational deployments where resilience to jamming and interception is essential.
